KAIF is engaged in promoting the communication with overseas organizations and colleagues through providing the information of Korean nuclear industry in order to improve the international perception on Korean nuclear industry.

KAIF organizes various meetings between institutions in Korea and other countries, and extends dialogues with experts from other countries through mutual visits and participating in the conferences abroad.

KAIF closely cooperates with international nuclear organizations in some 20 countries such as Japan, China, Canada, U.K., France, Germany, Russia, as well as Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), American Nuclear Society (ANS) and European Nuclear Society (ENS).

KAIF has signed cooperation memorandum with the following organizations to exchange information and hold joint meetings :

June 9, 1986	: Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA)
April 15, 1987	: Japan Atomic Energy Relations Organization (JAERO)
May 18, 1989	: French Atomic Forum (FAF)
April 16, 1991	: USSR Nuclear Society (USSR NS)
April 6, 1995	: China National Nuclear Corporation(CNNC)
April 21, 2009	: China Nuclear Energy Association (CNEA)

KAIF also promotes cooperation with international nuclear news agency, such as the ENS NucNet in terms of providing information covering important events taken place in the nuclear industries and institutions in Korea.
