KAIF holds an annual conference every year in collaboration with Korean Nuclear Society (KNS), and this conference has become one of the nuclear sector's most important international meetings. By the large, foreign attendees are reckoned up to be approximately 20% of the total participants.

Plenary sessions are proceeded in bilingual, both English and Korean, whereas parallel sessions are in usually English. Conference transactions are prepared in English. Session subjects cover most of the major aspects of nuclear issues including those related to radioisotopes and radiation.

A nuclear exhibition is set up in conjunction with the conference near the conference venue where the sessions are held.
