KAIF provides its members and third parties with information on nuclear matters and publishes periodicals, brochures and information sheets pertaining to nuclear energy.

KAIF cooperates with the world's nuclear news agency, NucNet, of the European Nuclear Society (ENS) as a member organization in terms of collecting information and providing news input covering all the major events, while KAIF and 6 subscribing organizations join the agency on an individual fee paying basis.

KAIF also cooperates with other international nuclear news agencies such as Nuclear Engineering International (U.K.) and Nucleonics Week (U.S.), through the provision of information.
