Korea Atomic Industrial Forum (KAIF) held the “2025 KAIF Members’ Day” on Thursday, July 17, at the Grand Ballroom of the Westin Josun Hotel in Seoul.

This year’s Members’ Day was organized to commemorate KAIF’s achievement of reaching the milestone of 500 member companies, and to celebrate together with the industry the nation’s recent success in winning the Czech Republic’s new nuclear power plant project.

Since 2022, KAIF has increased its membership by approximately 3.6 times in just three years, further solidifying its position as the representative organization of Korea’s nuclear industry.

During the event, a membership certificate was presented to Sungpung Construction Co., Ltd., the 500th company to join KAIF. In addition, plaques of appreciation were awarded to the representatives of six “Team Korea” companies as a symbol of both the national achievement in securing the Czech project and the spirit of cooperation across the nuclear industry.

Looking ahead, KAIF plans to strengthen its policy communication framework centered on its member companies and to expand its role as a key actor in external cooperation.
